AgiOne turned AGI's outdated airport operations software into a responsive web and mobile platform that centralizes flight, ramp and security coordination, reducing manual errors and response times.
The challenge
The company approached us with the request to develop a comprehensive software solution for the optimized management of airport operations. Its goal was to cover a spectrum of needs ranging from flight organization to ramp services coordination and security monitoring.
The solution
Discovery phase
We began with a thorough discovery phase, working closely with the AgiOne team. Our goal was to thoroughly understand their current operational processes, identify the pain points of their outdated software and clearly define the functional and non-functional requirements of the new platform. We conducted interviews with key users, observed workflows and analyzed the existing technology infrastructure to ensure the proposed solution aligned perfectly with their strategic and operational objectives.

Development and implementation
We improved their existing, outdated software to meet their specific needs. Our development included creating an interactive user interface with smooth transitions and animations. We designed the application as a single-page web application (SPA) with responsive UIs for various screen sizes. Using Vue.js, we organized the code and UI with reusable components, ensuring easy sharing between projects. We implemented Vue Router for navigation between different views and routes. Our testing strategy included unit tests for Vue.js components and integration tests with tools such as Cypress or Puppeteer. In addition, we optimized the application for search engines by implementing relevant metadata and crawler-friendly content, improving visibility and accessibility.

Key technologies
We modernized the software with Python and JavaScript, using custom databases. For the frontend, we used Vue.js for its reactivity and state management, and Axios for data exchange and authentication. The integration of APIs and third-party components, together with a scalable architecture, ensured efficient data handling and a smooth user experience, meeting the changing needs of the industry.
Our approach

- Definition of functional and non-functional requirements.
- Interviews with key users and workflow observation.
- Review of the existing technology infrastructure.
- An interactive user interface with smooth transitions and animations.
- A single-page web application (SPA) with a responsive interface for all screen sizes.
- Vue.js with reusable components, and Vue Router for navigation between views.
- Unit tests for Vue.js components and integration tests with tools such as Cypress or Puppeteer.
- Search engine optimization through relevant metadata and crawler-friendly content.
